Dr. Huang graduated from Peking University in 1991 and had his Ph.D degree at Kyoto University in 2001. He followed with postdoctoral trainings first at Harvard Medical School and later at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Since had his own lab at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in 2009, he continues working on transcription factors & epigenetics. His research program has been focusing on building mouse MDS-MF models with MLL-PTD and mRUNX1, mouse MPN models with JAK2-V617F, as well as mouse leukemia models with SETD2, ASH1L and NSD2 mutations.
